Hnefatafl
Hnefatafl is an ancient abstract strategy game which falls under the series of games known as “tafl”. The idea behind these games is that both sides start off with unequal material, and have different objectives. I pursued this project because the idea of writing an artificially intelligent computer for a game with little theoretical knowledge enticed me. I have always big intrigued by chess A.I., and I found this to be a good area to experiment with this knowledge. This program allows the game to be played by either two humans, a human vs. a computer, or two computers.
